9. Sorority Row - $0.85M
10. The Final Destination - $0.74M

Four new films entered the market place this Friday but only one emerged as the cleaner winner in the oddly-titled CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. THE INFORMANT! and LOVE HAPPENS managed similar box office with $3.6M and $3M respectively. Success for Megan Fox appears tied only to Transformers as her new film JENNIFER'S BODY tanked on its opening day with a paltry $2.8M. Tyler Perry managed to hang on okay with I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF notching up another $3.1M.

Overall, the box office has gained a little momentum but is fairly subdued as is common this time of the year.
