The Transformers - Hugely Popular Then and Now

When the Transformers’ toys were introduced in the 80s, they instantly became very popular. They became such a phenomenon that toy collectors sprung up in no time. Besides toys, people were very keen on seeing Transformers in other media. There was an animated show as early as 1986, which was also loved by the masses.

There were also television episodes, and they also created waves among a large number of audience. A new and very sophisticated film was released in the year 2007. It made a lot of money and it broke a lot of records. It was highly sophisticated with the presentation, and there were a lot of fans around the world that flocked to watch it.

The film was made by the well-known filmmaker Steven Spielberg who produced it. Michael Bay directed the film. It can fall under the genre of live action film. A lot of effort went into shaping up the characters, so that they would look very real. The robots in the film are computer generated, and they look very real.

A lot of effort has gone into the technical aspects of the film making. This was a non-sequel, and a completely fresh series. For such a film, it had a very grand opening around the world. They are very uniquely presented, and a lot of special effects have been introduced in the film. Because of this unique look, and good story, the film did very well.

The film was made on a budget of 147 million dollars, and kept under check, so that they would recover and make a good profit as well. The United States military played a very important role in the making of the film. There are also human characters in the movie, along with the robots. There is a very interesting story line.

However the younger children may not follow. What they could enjoy is the creation of the robots and the special effects, which is really phenomenal. The creation of all these characters began way back in 2002. There was a lot of interest from the toy owners as well as the cartoon creators. They came together to brainstorm, and also create some unique content.

The best part of the film is that all the people who were involved in the making, are fans of these toys. They all love these toys and they enjoyed creating these characters. Almost a year was spent on designing these robots for the film, so that it had a very realistic look. They planned initially that they should make it three dimensional.

By doing so, they gave a very alien look to these characters, as the story required them to be so. This film is a good watch because they have taken effort even with the intricate things. It is also not easy to project such creations on screen, and they would have spent hours making it look perfect. It caters to any generation when it comes to watching the film.
